Courtney and Jordan had their beautiful wedding out at Staley Mountain Ranch in Oakhurst, Texas at the beginning of October. You wouldn't know it by the looks of it, but Oakhurst is just over an hour outside of Houston. Maybe it was just because it was a misty overcast day, but when I arrived up at Staley Mountain Ranch it felt like I was suddenly up in the Pacific Northwest. There were rolling hills covered in mist-blanketed trees as far as the eye could see. It was breathtakingly beautiful.
When Courtney and I talked about where to do their engagement session, she said that she wanted a wooded area in-keeping with her woodland wedding theme. I think we hit the nail on the head with their engagement session in W.G. Jones State Park. You can check out their engagement session here.
Courtney went above and beyond in creating her dream wedding. She put together all of the beautiful details that made up their woodland wonderland wedding. It had such a romantic ambiance to it and it felt so wonderfully intimate. One of my favorite details was a table that her and Jordan set up supporting rescue animals and asking their guests for donations to the animal rescue in lieu of wedding gifts.
Courtney and Jordan, thank you so much for granting me the honor of documenting y'all's wedding day. I know that your love for one another will stand the test of time.
