Bernadette and Jeremy's wedding at The Farmhouse will always hold a special place in my heart. Bernadette and Jeremy are the kinds of people who will go out of their way to make you feel like you're part of the family and that you're taken care of. They're a laid-back, fun-loving couple with some of the biggest hearts around. Bottom-line, they're genuinely good people, and I was lucky enough to have the privilege of documenting their incredible love-filled wedding day.

Bernadette was gracious enough to share her point of view of her wedding day as well as give us an update on what married life is like so far for her and Jeremy. Here's what she had to say:

I asked Bernadette to set the scene of their wedding day. She said,

"It was the perfect day. Until about two days before (the wedding day) it was supposed to pour, but not a drop fell from the sky. It was cool and crisp. The venue was simple, but beautiful. It took very little decor because the venue said so much by itself. (The Farmhouse) is the sweetest little venue on the outskirts of town with the (sweetest) people running it."

When I asked Bernadette what her favorite part of their wedding day was she said,

"Our first look, for sure! I was so nervous as I walked outside, but as I turned the corner and saw Jeremy I just melted. I saw nothing else but him and he gave me the biggest hug and wiped the tear from my face. Such happy tears and such a happy moment."

When she saw Jeremy for the first time during their first look, Bernadette said that she felt,

"Pure joy. (Jeremy) makes me so darn happy and makes me a better person. I was just happy that I hadn't scared him off yet ha! He gives me the best hugs too, so during our first look I remember feeling unbelievably safe and just so happy."

As Bernadette reflected back on her wedding day, she added,

"I remember having the time of my life, I didn't have a worry in the world (I think we owe that mainly to Rachel and (her) fabulous team (Wed & Prosper) we had helping us throughout the evening), but I just had the BEST time and I am so happy about that (you hear stories sometimes and I was so nervous about that, but it was simply the best day, no question).

I have never felt so loved. My mom got to the venue early to help set up. The week before (she) had mentioned that maybe one or two aunts would come as well. When I walked outside and was greeted by literally my entire immediate and extended family, our close neighbors, and family friends it literally brought tears to my eyes (its making me cry right now just thinking of it). It was such an unbelievable outpouring of love. I will never forget that moment and all the help everyone offered us. Because of them we had the whole venue decorated in no time and (the wedding) went off without a hitch. I am overwhelmed just thinking of it. Such sweetness and love."

It has now been almost four months since Bernadette and Jeremy tied the knot, so of course I wanted to know how married life has been treating them thus far. Here's what Bernadette had to say,

"Honestly, life hasn't changed much for us as we already lived together, but there is a new closeness that is hard to describe. I trust him completely, but it's not as though I didn't before. It's just different now.

I would walk through fire for this man and I know without a doubt he would do the same for me."

I am so grateful to Bernadette for sharing her wedding experience, and I am so happy for her and Jeremy.
