I absolutely adore being a second photographer. It gives me the opportunity to get creative and try new things without the pressures of being the primary photographer. I also love to observe how other photographers work and see how they can see the same light in a completely different way than I do. I especially love second shooting for Ron Dillon, he is a creative genius and I learn something new every time I shoot with him. Every single one of his clients is incredibly lucky to have him document their most important life moments.

When second shooting for someone, I am meeting the couple for the first time on their wedding day. This is, in my opinion, one of the best days in someone's life for you to meet them; for the simple reason that it is one of the best days of their life. To step into someone's life when they are about as full of love and excitement as a person can possibly be is a truly special experience; it is an experience that I cherish every single time it happens.

Claudia and Luis were no exception, and in fact their love is one of the most special loves I have had the privilege to document. You can see it in the way that they look at one another throughout their whole wedding day; with absolute pure joy.

Claudia and Luis' wedding was the first Venezuelan-American wedding I have attended, and it was SO MUCH FUN! They knew how to party! Plus they took special care to include Ron and myself in the fun and even we dressed up and danced while photographing the reception.

This wedding will go down in the books as one of my all-time favorites!
